The Grain Project was conceived in 2022 as an experiment in flavour. 6 casks of the same 2015 Single Grain Whiskey were married together before being filled into 3 different cask types for finishing to showcase the influence of the cask on the same Whiskey.

Edition 1.2 is the product of a 19 month finish in a fresh Ruby Port cask, sourced direct from the Quinta. The cask imparts rich and powerful notes of ripe red berries and cherries, cinnamon and spice complementing the full creamy undertones of the Grain. A few drops of water open up floral and less sweet notes.
