Mead (Miodh in Irish) is the world’s oldest alcoholic drink, unique in that its primary ingredient is honey but also incredibly diverse.
A delicious, off-dry traditional style mead, beautifully crisp with a lovely citrus honey flavour. Best enjoyed chilled or over ice as a pre-dinner drink.
It has lovely floral aromas and a long, lingering hint of honey with almost no sweetness; a perfect food pairing with salty appetisers such as olives, salted nuts or seafood. Or try pairing it with a lemon tart or buttermilk panna cotta.
