Before there was whiskey, there was poitín, the father of Irish whiskey and an ancient ancestor of all distilled drinks.

Nose: Rich sultanas, exotic fruit, mango, pineapple, orange zest and marmalade.

Taste: Light and lively. Rich and rounded with raisins, dark cherry and plum notes, vanilla and sweet grains with peppercorn spice.

Finish: Dark stone fruit, oak spices and a slight nuttiness.

Sip it neat or on the rocks for a true taste, or mix it for long drinks and cocktails with an extra kick.
