A double distilled Single Malt whiskey produced at the Cooley Distillery in Co. Louth and matured for 12 years in ex American oak casks. The 12 Year Old Connemara is a medium peated, gently fruity and smooth Single Malt. On the nose it has distinctive peat and malt notes, with some subtle orchard fruits in the background. The taste is smooth with peat and green apple and there is a strong spice bite in the finish, with creamy peatiness remaining in the mouth.
