The Lakeview Single Estate is a delicious limited release Single Estate Pot Still Whiskey made from their Estate Barley and matured on the Estate. It showcases the unique maturation conditions in their 300 year old stone Bonded Storehouse on the Lakeview Estate on the shores of Lough Leane, their Killarney family home of 900 years.
Grown in their Hilly Field, the whiskey was matured for 3 months in ex Bourbon casks and thereafter in ex Premier Cru Bordeaux NEOC casks. 10% was finished for 3 months in an ex Peated cask. Gently cut over 6 months to ensure integration & smoothness. No colour added. Not chill filtered.
Tasting notes: Expect cherries on the nose, a rich honeyed taste with a hint of smoke and a long finish.
