The first Single Malt release in the Family Bond Series was distilled in 2001 and represents an extremely limited release. This sourced release spent 19 years in first fill American White Oak Bourbon Casks, before being finished in Spanish Oloroso Butts from Jerez.
Clan Colla 19 Year Old Single Malt with an Oloroso Finish won a Silver medal, scoring 94 points, at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
Nose: Aromatic toasted maltiness with citrus hints.
Taste: Creamy smooth caramel, dried fruit, nuttiness, vanilla & chocolate orange.
Finish: A long and sophisticated finish with a final release of the full-bodied flavours.
