Each strawberry used is grown in Wexford. They are frozen, shipped to them and macerated in alcohol for 48 hours to fully extract their flavour. They then mince the berries and add the whole lot to the still. After distillation even more strawberries are added to the gin, along with some blackcurrants; this gives this Wexford Strawberry Gin its wonderful nose and rose tint.
